Ashkahn Jahromi, along with Graham Talley and Jake Marty, are experts in float tank water sanitation and in recreational water treatment in general. All three have become deeply passionate about proper water care, and about furthering our knowledge of water treatment in float tanks.
They were keynote speakers at the World Aquatic Health Conference in 2015, which is the largest gathering of health regulators and other aquatic experts in the United States. They were invited back to give a paid workshop for Health Department officials on float tank sanitation in 2016.
Ashkahn and Graham were deeply involved in drafting the Float Tank Standards through the FTA, which they are now helping to update and turn into the North American Float Tank Standard. They serve on the Task Group for Sensory Deprivation Standards through the NSF, worked on updating standards in Washington State, and have personally consulted with many of the state health department heads around the United States and Canada.
Jake is an NSPF Instructor, and has personally trained and certified many of the center owners in the floatation industry to be Certified Pool Operators. He gives a CPO training course at the Float Conference each year for around 50 students. Graham and Ashkahn were also asked to contribute a float tank section to the most recent update to the CPO handbook, which is now being taught to new Pool Operators across the country.
When it comes to float tank care, they are working with the world’s leading experts.
