There’s been a lot of excitement this year about how the float industry can help move float tank research along to help gain some recognition for this life changing practice. The industry has been trying to find creative ways to contribute to the available research, but it was ramped up with Justin Feinstein’s presentation this year at the Rise Float Gathering, and again his workshop at the Float Conference in August.
Graham and Ashkahn offer up a valuable reminder when going forward, with the fact that if done incorrectly, some attempts at scientific contributions from the industry can have negative repercussions for floating in the scientific community.
