2018 Conference Program Introduction
It was absolutely our pleasure to, once again, host the Float Conference here in Portland. We couldn’t help but be slightly nostalgic remembering all the Conferences we’ve held, all the way back to 2012. Below is the complete introduction for this year’s program intro. While this may be our last year hosting, we look forward to what the rest of the industry has in store for us in the future.
Why we’re Excited for the 2018 Float Conference!
It’s Float On’s final year hosting the Float Conference this year. The wails from all our floaty friends can be heard throughout the galaxy as we mourn the end of an era. But, please, dry your eyes, float industry, because this year is going to be amazing.
There’s absolutely no way we’re not going out with a bang, so buckle up and buy your tickets. We’re planning on making this the best Float Conference yet! We have fresh speakers, amazing activities, new podcasts, and a very full schedule. Everything is going to be bigger and better and the parties are going to be off the hook!
Here’s a little bit from some of us putting this event together about what we’re excited about this year.

Now that the salt has settled, I’m sharing some thoughts from “The Great Gathering of People Who Really Love Being Alone Sometimes in a Dark, Briny Room,” also known as The Float Conference.

2017 Float Conference Program Introduction
Every year, I have the great pleasure of writing the introduction for the Float Conference program, and every year we share it on our blog so that members of the industry who weren’t able to make the journey out to Portland are able to check it out. I hope you enjoy reading it as much as I enjoyed writing it.
From all of us at Float Tank Solutions, where our time is measured as the space between two conferences, thank you again for a wonderful year!
