2015 Float ConferenceAlthough we encourage people to live in the current moment, the team here at Float Tank Solutions is anxiously looking forward to what’s coming up at the 2015 Float Conference on August 13-17th.

Admittedly, we’re a little spoiled being allowed behind the scenes access by working with the conference organizers.

We could provide you with a general overview of what’s coming up, but you could satisfy that just as easily by going to the Float Conference Website.

Instead, since the Float Conference can mean something different to each person, we decided to ask our team individually to share what they’re looking forward to in August:

From the many centers that have started since last year to the soon-to-be-centers that FTS is working currently with, I’m excited to put a face to the many voices I’ve spoken with over the phone.

– Frank Ciavarello

I am looking forward to all of the float researchers, the parties & food, and seeing all my float homies.

– Pat Barrett

I can’t pick just one, so I’ll go with these: Portland Food Cart lunches, hanging out with float researchers, saying hello to our past apprentices, sharing salty horror stories over beer, and the talks this yearlook like they’re going to be truly wonderful.”

– Graham Talley

I look forward to chatting about marketing with float center owners and how they’re filling their tanks without being lured into common pitfalls like relying on Groupon. I’m a marketing nerd, it’s what I do. OH… and the Saturday night party, but that should go without saying!

– Derek Wyatt

I’m excited for all the Friday Activities happening right before the conference this year. And for all the high fives I get as I run around the Conference. When you see me there, come give me a high five!

– Ashkahn Jahromi

I am super jazzed to test out another years worth of practice and draw a bunch of cool people. I’m definitely putting down the pen to hear Justin Feinstein talk.

– Kathryn Sullivan

The Float Conference truly has something for everyone in the float community.

If you’re an aspiring float center owner, there is the Float Center Workshop where you can learn the finer details of running a safe & profitable, salt infused business. And if you’re still debating what tanks to get, this is the best way to hear all of the benefits & features directly from the float tank manufacturers, almost all of whom will have a presence.

CPO Training CourseIf your center is already up and running, there is a plethora of float research that will be presented to take back and share with your community.

One of the biggest conversations every year is water safety and sanitation. If you are looking to take your float education to the next level, on the Monday after the conference, there is a CPO training course. Regardless of the fact that you’re just getting your float center started or you’ve been open for years, CPO training is a great extra level of security for both keeping your water safe, and for being able to work with your local health department.

Even if you’re just a float fanatic with no float business agenda, you’ll be immersed deep within a welcoming community of like-minded, happy, floaty, people…. the best kind of people, working towards making this world a more calm and peaceful place.

See you soon,
